STCW 2010 requires all seafarers to receive basic safety training in accordance with section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code. At entry level STCW Basic Safety Training the minimum requirement and it is mandatory for anyone working on board a seagoing vessel. The course is made up to five modules, which meet the minimum STCW 2010 familiarization, and basic safety training requirements. These modules are held over five consecutive training days. Course Content: - Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities Day 1 Duration: 1/2 day - Proficiency in Security Awareness Day 1 Duration: 1/2 day - Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Day 2&3 - Personal Survival Techniques Day 4 - Elementary First Aid (Basic First Aid) Day 5 Accreditation: Marshall Islands Pre-requisites: the candidate should be able to swim and have their ENG1 prior to doing the STCW BST Dates: January 29th to February 2nd Duration: 5 days Cost: 1.200€ per person (VAT Excluded) Minimum students required: 6 For more information and other enquiries contact:
